Hoka Arahi 6 VS Hoka Clifton 8

The Arahi 6 is a stability shoe in comparison to the Clifton 8. It is a stable running shoe for Overpronation with a roomy toe box fit and comfortable OrthoLite sock liner. The Arahi is suitable for running long and short distances and is perfect for individuals with a lower arch type. What I love about the Arahi 6 is the slightly firmer and more supportive compression molded EVA midsole for stability, which is well complemented with a softer and moisture-wicking OrthoLite sock liner for comfort.

The Clifton 8 is a substantial running shoe that is more suitable for colder weather conditions. The shoe has a very wide fit with plush padding inside, and very soft and bouncy underfoot cushioning. The Clifton 8 also offers a good grip on most surfaces with grippy rubber patches on the outsole. The uppers are slightly more flexible however not as breathable as the Arahi 6 model The Clifton also offers a removable insole that will allow you the use your your own orthotics.

The basic difference between the two shoes is that the Arahi is a stability shoe, whereas the Clifton is more neutral, and the Arahi is more suitable for all weather conditions, whereas the Clifton is ideal for colder weather conditions.
